We began with the HP 3050. A six-colour digital press offering the best quality of print available. Nothing new there. However, within 12 months, we were the first people in Europe to bring you the HP 5000 digital press – with unique Halftoning technology. The 5000 analyses text during printing, adding dots to fill gaps at the edges, producing crisp, sharp text and images that enhance quality without affecting colour stability. It’s also set the standards in substrate versatility with grades ranging from 65gsm up to 350gsm. Not easy to say, but very easy to do!
ProCo were also the first in Europe to bring the HP 5500 to the market. Unlimited colour opportunities enhance colour vibrancy and expand job potential. Its seven-colour inking stations allow you to augment four process colours with HP IndiChrome special colours. Now we can also print using a revolutionary six-colour process of CMYK + light Cyan & Magenta. The results are spectacular for image and photo applications! Add this to advance paper handling for greater un-coated stock compatibility and enjoy yet another unique offering.
Oh, we were also first in line to test Matte Ink. A stunning new HP Indigo Digital Matte Ink print process creates a differential gloss effect to give a spot varnish look. It’s so easy to use because it’s an on-press, in-line process. You can even personalise in it!
